What Kind of Jobs are Available?
Bank Tellers are responsible for carrying out daily, routine transactions for the public. Tasks may include deposits and withdrawals, foreign currency exchange, selling money orders and traveler's checks, and taking payment for loans and utility bills. Customer service representatives deal mainly with queries and help customers complete forms. They may also work in call centers or deal with emailed and written enquiries. Their knowledge needs to be broad in order to advise on a wide range of products. Loan and credit clerks assess applications for credit for completeness and process these forms. Bill and account collectors are responsible to following up on late payments and collecting funds where possible. Financial managers ensure that departments or branches are run properly and effectively. They may administer investments and operations. Some may deal with customer's problems.
